Oxnars, California - Judy Rose Romero passed away at the age of 75 after a courageous battle with colon cancer, surrounded by her loving family.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose life was defined by faith, love, and dedication to her children and grandchildren.

Judy was married for 46 years to her beloved husband, Charles Romero, who passed away in 2016 at the age of 65. She is survived by her three children, Tom, Lori, and Cyndi, and her eight grandchildren: Nico, Sammy, Brianna, Scarlett, Sebastian, Melody, Benjamin, and Violet. She is also survived by her sisters, Jean and Josie.

A devoted Catholic, Judy attended Mass daily and prayed the Rosary daily. She was a proud member of the Oxnard community, where she built her life and raised her family since 1978. She worked for Verizon for 38 years and retired happily. She also enjoyed life's simple pleasures—spending time with her family, going to Chumash Casino, enjoying meals at In-N-Out and Andria's Seafood, and shopping at the C.A.T. in Camarillo.

The words of Psalm 23 bring comfort in her memory: "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want." She will always be remembered and forever in our hearts. We love you and deeply miss you.
