Santa Monica, CA - Karen Sue Yohman (née Harr), age 73, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2026, in Santa Monica, California.

Born on September 14, 1952, in Canton, Ohio, Karen was the daughter of John and Betty Harr. She spent her early years in Mansfield Ohio and graduated from Lexington High School. She later pursued her studies at Ventura College, where she became a Certified Home Health Aide. Her career in caregiving was marked by dedication and compassion, as she formed meaningful connections with those she cared for.

Karen was married to her beloved husband, Dennis Yohman, for nearly 53 years. They have a son Shawn Yohman and stepdaughter Dawn Liedorff. Together, they built a life filled with love and shared adventures. Their mutual passion for travel took them around the world, creating lasting memories along the way.

A devoted member of Camarillo Christian Church, Karen's strong faith was a guiding force throughout her life. Her deep love for Jesus inspired those around her and shaped her kind and generous spirit. She was known for her willingness to help others and her gift for listening with empathy and grace.

Karen found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially gardening. She had a particular fondness for weeding, finding peace in tending to her garden.

She is survived by her sister, Jean Riley. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Betty Harr.

Karen legacy is one of faith, compassion, and love. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew her.
